The results have been tallied, and the shortlisted spa for the World Spa and Wellness Awards 2021 have been revealed and we are pleased to announce that Ms. Renate Hermes, Group Director and Wellness Coach at Duniye Spa in the Maldives, has been chosen a finalist for the highly coveted award in the individual category.

The only one from Asia and Australasia to have been chosen, along with a few others from global luxury spa brands and properties such as the JW Marriott Downtown in Charlotte, USA, Preidlhof, Naturno in Italy, Sensasia Spas in Dubai, UAE, Astoria Spa at Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah, UAE, and Aqua Sana in Nottinghamshire, England, UK.
“I felt very grateful and honored when I heard about the nomination. I see it as a result of the power of a mindfulness based compassionate leadership style and a strong vision and belief in the wellbeing of your team”, says Renate when asked about the moment she learned about the nomination.

This year, finalists will gather in London on October 17, 2021, to celebrate their achievements at a glamorous awards ceremony held in conjunction with the Professional Beauty Awards 2021 at the Grade II-listed venue The Brewery.
